Hey everyone~ I'm trying to figure out my MBTI type. I've already figured out my Enneagram type. I'm most definitely a 4w3 SX/SO.

My MBTI type is ENFJ or INFJ; I test both. Typically a 4w3 corresponds with INFJ, but not always, especially if a 3 wing is present.

Nonetheless, I want to try and figure out my type! Does anyone have a lot experience that would be willing to help me? That would be super sweet :)

I can describe myself to you...

I'm a dork. I'm cheesy. I'm loving. I'm EXTREMELLY sentimental. I love affection. I love philosophizing. I'm very idealistic. I'm corny. I'm really artsy; I love photography and making things from junkyards lol. I love reading, writing, music, and traveling. All of my movies are based off true-life events; I love seeing people better themselves and accomplish their dreams and all they've set out to do. I get disappointed easily, and can often feel let down. I tend to idealize most relationships I'm in and tend to only see the "good" in them, brushing over the negative. I long for a connection. I'm constantly searching for the "one," my -soulmate- that -one- person I can spend my entire -life- with. I want to be loved. I want to have a family one day and provide for that family. Community is very important to me; it's important that I have people (a small group) which I can mingle with and share interests with. Personal development is huge with me. I'm constantly striving. My perfectionism makes things really hard sometimes, as I tend to be MUCH too hard on myself, and ultimately others. I'm picky. I'm fussy, or *can* be anyway. I like things neat. Organized. I like helping people, but only if I can have my *own* needs taken care of first. I want to be the best I can be so that I can help others be the best they can be. Ideally, I'd like the world to be unified.

Hope this helps! Let me know what you think. It's either INFJ or ENFJ.

Also, my homepage is at the bottom if you wanna check it out; I have some pictures, bio, and blogs on there that might help :) Thanks!

~Em.

You look like an extrovert for sure, but that's certainly no basis to make an assumption on. So how about emphasizing more on how you deal with people or handle being alone and recharging. Where do you get most of your energy from? Staying at home and curling up with a good long novel or from socializing with your community? Razz

Sure. Well... I like to be out in groups. In fact, I generally get really depressed if I don't at least spend some time outdoors, usually with friends. Meeting new people is fun; it can be a bit nerve racking at first, as I'm always focussed with how I come off to others. Umm... I find it energizing meeting people and connecting. Connecting is huge with me; I love it and long for it. I definitely have to have alone time though after I spend time with a group. Typically I can stand hanging out with people for 2-3 hours or so and then I need to go home and sit down with a good book or talk with a close friend or lover. Or I'll play some music and just journal. I'm pretty introspective. On the contrary, I'm also really open... I'm expressive (this could just be a "4" thing though). Some say I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve. I don't like this, as it makes me feel vulnerable, and so sometimes I will try to not be so open, but it usually doesn't work out so great. Over all, I thrive off groups and connecting with people but then need to spend lots of time recharging my batteries to reflect on what just happened and to be sure I'm centered and balanced and where I (feel) I need to be.

I remember when you posted that you were INFJ in the Phototyping Forum everyone was surprised by the I part. Laughing And now you're here trying to figure out whether you actually are an Introvert.

From what I've seen, you seem more like an Extravert to me. Extraverts can be introspective and Introverts can be concerned with people (especially INFJs with very strong Fe), but from what you've written outside interaction energizes you more than it would most Introverts.

I'd say you are ENFJ judging by your language. You say "love" "hate" etc. very strong words to convey your feelings. I tend to do things like that, and I'm completely exagerrating but I do it purposely so people really understand how I feel about something.

INFJs don't do this as much (or very much), they're more contained but they may be feeling the same way.

Yeah... I guess. I don't know why I test INFJ sometimes though, and why I identify with it?

Also, aren't *most* 4's INFJ? --INFX? Hmm... Would my "3" wing make that big of a difference?

Could it be possible for me to be xNFJ?

It's confusing lol

If I'm ENFJ, why am I SO creative then? INFJ's are said to be much more creative than ENFJ's. And I'm also VERY intuitive to and have that whole "premonition" stuff that INFJ is said to have.

I'm just trying to get some clarity here. Thanks for your feedback!

IN types may be more woven towards creativity, but any person, not type, can develop theirs.

???

From what you wrote, I think you're either a slight introvert (like shorty) or a slight to moderate extrovert.

It's up to you: what do you want to be?

When your down in a hole which applies to you?

Ti: "excessive criticism; twisted logic"
Se: "overindulgence in sensual pleasure; obsessive focus on external data"

Is it easier for you to use your Fe or Ni?

Definitely the second one, "Se: "overindulgence in sensual pleasure; obsessive focus on external data."

When I am really stressed out I tend to withdraw into my own little world and become REALLY obsessive with the thing that's frustrating me. I also get really harsh and critical and snapy with everyone. My thinking in general I would say is pretty obsessive, but especially when stressed out. Also when stressed out I tend to get physically sick.

When I am stressed out my mind definitely focuses on the things that -need to get done- It focuses on the object/TASK that's frustrating me and stressing me out. My thinking becomes very singular, and I obsess over the task and details of the task to where sometimes I can't get it done I'm obsessing so much or to where I will become physically sick.
